Privacy notice
The Starship Space Program alpha asks you to sign in with Patreon once, to check that you are a paying patron.
What this server stores: your Patreon user id, your Patreon display name, whether you are an active paying patron, the ids of your Patreon tiers (to unlock your tier's rewards in the game), the times you first and last signed in or refreshed, and a random install id the game made on your computer. When you download a build from the player area, it stores which build and when, with your Patreon user id (not your address). The operator may also store a short note about you, and whether your access is blocked. When an invite key's link is opened, it stores when (first and last time), how many times, and for the last visit only the country and the kind of program (a desktop or mobile browser, or a link preview); not your address or your browser details.
The website player area also keeps a short-lived browser session containing your Patreon display name, user id, membership status, tier ids and title, and the time your membership was checked. It expires after one hour; expired sessions are removed when the next website sign-in starts. This is used to show the builds included in your tier. Signing out removes your browser session immediately.
What it does not store: your email address, any postal address, payment details, or your Patreon access tokens. Patreon tells us only the identity and membership status, and we use it once during sign-in.
Why: to decide whether the alpha may be played, and to sign a small proof (a registration token) that the game keeps on your computer so you do not have to sign in again.
Starhopper (the mobile game): when you send a landing to its online leaderboard, this server stores the name you typed, the mission flown, the landing's points, medal and numbers (distance from the pad's centre, touchdown speed, drift, lean, propellant left, flight time, whether it was flown by hand), your platform and game version, when, and a random id the game made on your device so your landings stay yours. Each landing you send is its own entry, on that mission's board. No account and no address. Everyone sees the name and the landing; the id is never shown. The game can remove your entries.
The game plays offline after that. To have your record deleted, ask the project through its Patreon page.
